I love doing voices and have been doing it since I was really young. Everyone I know is amazed at my creative voices, how I can just pull one up simply out of the air. I really want to pursue this gift of gab so to speak!
Right now I work in a haunted house, House on Horror Hill, Alpharetta, GA , North Fulton Jaycees, and I play my character Tricksey, the Creepy Country Hostess, she's pretty in a creepy sort of way. I created her and her sweet deadly sugary voice literally in a second. I've been her character for three years and well I love it!
I do other voices too that I've created.

So can anyone out there tell me how I can pursue my dream?

I really want to persue acting as a career, but my mom is nervous about it. She thinks I should get a minor in theatre while I would like to major in it, preferably in a BFA program. But now I'm thinking, can you become an actor with only a minor in theatre?

You never hear about schools for it, other than radio broadcasting schools. I'm not wanting to be on the radio, but in animated movies. Mention just about any animated movie and I can tell you the voices. It's a strange hobby of mine. Not to mention I dream of having that kind of job. I'm aware of taking acting classes, but how else do you go about getting into this unique industry?

I have been approached with the proposition to direct the high school musical this spring in the district where I teach. I am looking for a good show that has a small cast and that does not have massive set & costume requirements. I do not know what the budget is yet but I assume it is small.

My thought so far have been: You're a Good Man Charlie Brown and perhaps Once on This Island. Any other good thoughts?

I am looking for ideas from 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' to be used for monolouges. If you can think of scenes from the show that can be used for a one person, perferablly, one minute monologue, that would be just what i am looking for. Okay a lady called me to have a meeting with her tomorrow
and i heard that john casa blanca is a scam
If i take the meeting and if they ask for money can i just say no?
cus my mom said they did the same to her when she was younger, she met them at the mall and they said shes very pretty and that she should be a model, but then she had to pay money, when she paid the money they kept on asking.

Ok so I'm an actor and when you slate, you have to say your first and last name and age. EVERYONE always says Hi Im______ ________ and I'm _____
But I like doing one's like Bond,James Bond and I'm ____ years old. SO what are other ways I can say my name and age?
