Whats the best way to get into voice acting?

You never hear about schools for it, other than radio broadcasting schools. I'm not wanting to be on the radio, but in animated movies. Mention just about any animated movie and I can tell you the voices. It's a strange hobby of mine. Not to mention I dream of having that kind of job. I'm aware of taking acting classes, but how else do you go about getting into this unique industry?

watch for workshops being offerred and attend them. make a demo tape and send it to agents with a short cover letter.
