I hope you know that most schools will let you audit classes, usually for a nominal fee. Try to find a teacher you connect wtih. It will save you a lot of time and money. I studied at HB Studio and part of Hagen/Berghof's 'policy' was to keep fees as affordable as possible. There is a waiting list but many of the teachers there have 'scholarships' available. This has stipulations, but is a great learning experience to work that closely with a teacher. It is a school that is dedicated to training you to be a working actor.

Hi,

try the Ward Studio for technique. Go to the following page link and read about my experience there. That's where I study currently. I have one more class out of about 10 total to complete my studies there before I move on. I highly recommend it. Wendy Ward is tough, but she makes sure you learn. Her technique is Meisner. http://www.actingcareerstartup.com/acting_classes.html . You'll also find tips about how to choose a school.

If you are looking for more specialty work, you can check out Actors Connection. You'll find comments about them and a link to that site on the same page indicated above.
