i have a cold reading today after a read it should i say scene

I would finish with a simple thank you and that's it. You don't want to over do it because then you'll seem too eager. Saying "Scene" is too much of a movie cliche for any director/caster to think is professional or funny anymore. Be sure that they have your correct phone number and/or address and name. It's rarely ever about what you said or did after the audition that will get you a part, but more along the lines of if you fit the director's "vision" for the character. That's why a cold reading is tougher than a prepared monologue, you don't have time to get any sort of feel for the character unless you've acted it before.

I think, "Thank you for the opportunity to do this reading.
I would also today, send a thank you note saying much the same thing in different words. They will be impressed that you thought of them as more than machines.

I personally wait till the director says end then I say thank you and have a seat unless they say you don't need to stay around.
