Minus the actors, except some are all-volunteer. I was a one-time aspiring actress but I thought of just working at one as a ticket seller or something.

alot of not pr profit theatres need volunteers

private owned theatres, like most broadway places that are corporation owned, pay

Depends on the theatre.

Community theatre in your home town? Volunteer.

Hobby Center in Houston? Paid
Pantages Theatre in Hollywood? Paid
