i personally think it is better to be a soprano cause you have a bigger vocal range. but i love the sound of alto.

Both have important duties. The alto is usually the most pleasant to listen to. The soprano usually has the melody and the alto has the harmony. But it can also be reversed. They are equally better. It just depends on the individual's talent whether one is better than the other. I personally, cannot carry a tune, but I can harmonize.

none! its not a competition between altos and sopranos. both play a major part in the song and one cant do it without the other. that is why they are so important.

Soprano usually is melody, so it's easier. alto is for lower girls ranges, so one's not usuually better.
