Help with my haunted house audition?

I'm auditioning for a haunted house, they're taking 20 actors, what should I expect? What do they ask? How can I prepare? What do I wear? Haha any help is appreciated!!!

Expect to be interrogated. They'll probably ask about your experience, ask for your resume, ask about basics, etc. Do NOT bring up salary, unless they do first! Prepare by saying lines they give you, if you have lines. Or a fake scream, etc. Depends on what kind of haunted house.. practice makes perfect.

Wear casual clothes, as it's an audition for a haunted house, so they will give you a costume or tell you to buy one. Don't go dressed up as a ghost.

Don't be nervous! It's really easy once you get going. And relax. Don't fiddle with your shirt, or something like that!

I've done these types of jobs as well. You will have to take direction well by remaining in your station, staying in character, keeping your stamina for hours, and not reacting when people try to heckle you. You will never be allowed to touch a customer.

They will provide the scenario and character. Prepare a short monologue just in case they ask at the interview.

Dress in a neat and polished manner. A business suit is not necessary, just look pulled together and tasteful.

I would take the others advice, but one skill you should have is to be able to dead pan. Can you avoid laughing when people are taunting you? When you go to haunted houses or places like Knott's Scary Farm, etc. those actors get heckled. Can you take it and not break character? Aside from being an employee they can count on, they need actors who can take a variety of people trying their best to get them to break character. To best prepare, I would say seriously if you have a little brother invite him and a few of his friends to do do their best to get you to break character and if you can handle them you can handle anything!
