In my search to pursue a career in acting; I came across this website for a filmmaking and acting school in Houston. The name of the place is called Next Actor: Acting and Filmmaking School in Houston. According to what I found it is located at 5522 Chaucer Dr., Houston, TX 77005. What I want to know is whether or not it is a legitimate business or is it a scam? If anyone out has any info about about this place, or knows someone who has visited this facility; please let me know something. I found their website (www.nextactor.com), but since anyone can make a website I won't base things off of it.

I am a serious actress but if, when I was leaving through the stage door, I found a crowd of male admirers barring my way, how girls would I communicate to one or two that something might be on? I suppose I mean, how do the Rolling Stones do it?

I am an aspiring actor - but I have no experience at all!
I really want to get involved in local theatre productions, like helping out backstage or even being in a small non-speaking role. I don't want to get paid, I just want to be involved & be able to see professionals working their craft.
Any suggestions as to how I can go about getting involved in the Sydney theatre scene?
Much appreciated!

Don't you think that we miss Arthur Miller's judgment at this moment in time in Israel's history? What would be his advice now I wonder? We are considering his The American Clock as our next production. Our director says it has a real resonance. I'm sitting up reading it and watching the TV news,

My mom has sent me for my acting and modeling career to John Casablanca, the biggest company worldwide that teaches you how to model and act and the life of acting and everything. this is a huge company that, Brooke shields, Drew Barrymore, Giselle, Tyra Banks, naiomi campbell, cameron diaz and many other stars have became famous from this company. but it costs like 2000 dollars to take the programs and move on! is it worth it?

not discovered, just born into stardom? like, hasn't ashley tisdale been acting since she was like 2? and miley cyrus is only famous because her dad is a country star, right? and creatures like paris hilton (*patooey*) were simply born into riches, therefore famous, beautiful and "talented", right? why arent stars simply discovered anymore?

I was on their website and i couldnt find a place to tell you if you had to pay or not. What do they mean by "To be successfully discovered you must secure a legitimate agent. Without an agent you will not work as a model or actor. This does not require professional photos, comp cards, or classes. Your agent will help you with everything you need to market yourself and develop your career as a model or actor. ProScout is dedicated to the process of helping you find the agent that is right for you. Our agents work only at securing work for their models and actors, they do not sell classes, portfolios or unnecessary pictures. ProScout schedules up to 20 live agent review events per year, supplied by well over 300 free Open Call Interview sessions per year and it's online scouting resources."? If I understand correctly do I need an agent or will one be given to me if I get picked? If not can my mom be my agent cause she knows more about me than I know about me. Do they pick?
