I'm 19 and I'm a very clever science student. But I don't like studies and these people and place where I live and I don't like my life. I just wanna get out of it. I have written 2-3 full scripts also for me. but the problem is that people would not give me money to get copyright I'll manage something to get copyrights but how can i reach to a casting director or producer.
People never think that I'm a good student and I'm studying well for that they can be assured about my future.
I just wanna know that what other people do to get in america and to get touched with the casting directors.

Ok I want to be a actress but my parents dont let me take acting classes. Everytime I say the word acting they act like they dont hear me! I donno what to do cus acting is the one thing thats on my mind right now. What should Ido? (And if you're gunna say "you cant be one" or "give up" fu cus I'll not give up on my dreams!) You think any other huge actress/actor had to go through this? My parents keep saying you have to study more and then become a actress. I know education comes first and all but cant I do both?!! What should I tell them or how should I convince them? They think acting iis a joke. please help. any advice or supportive answers would help.

Broadway tickets?
I need to get hopefully cheaper(er) broadway tickets for next week without payoing an arm and a leg. Id like to see one of the headline ones like spamalot or the pajama game, etc. Are there any RELIABLE, GOOD, sites out there that help me with out ripping me off or charging me an arm and a leg or selling me fake tickets?

Mine are definitely the histories such as the King Henrys because Shakespeare took these true stories and made some changes based on what was occuring during his own life...also the battle scenes were awesome...

I will be going to University of Alabama to start work on a Master's Degree in Theatre Management and my dear old dad thinks I should get a part time job working at the Mercedes Benz plant... of course he said I should work only part time... Because I work in it and I'm getting a horrible feeling that it's a load of pretentious w^^k. Backstage and not appreciated, stupid actresses giving me a pain in the a** and when you watch the TV news and all the bombings...
I thought I was contributing in a small way to something worthwhile and saving for wheels. I'm really down.

I do not argue in public but people voted for me and will want to know my side.
For the record the backstage person is in charge of one other person and together they change the set which in this production is not required. All they have to do is arrange the banister rail for Mrs. Porter to fall through in the 2nd act and which tonight FELL OFF in the 1st act and made us look COMPLETE FOOLS and GAVE AWAY what was going to HAPPEN. Will he get a note tomorrow morning? I rather think so, you D.U.M.M.Y.
If you saw I said wanted a speaking part that was when I was at drama school. I play one of the leads in this touring production. I am not very happy tonight so no questions to ask. Thank you again. 'night.

Okay... so now tell me everything you know... even if it is a really stupid like, they take you picture, or whatever.

Okay so here is my real question... How do you get a comp card? Do you go to a profession photographer and then send your pictures to a comp card making company? Do you need a comp card and a portfolio? Is your portfolio just pictures you got done at a pro. photographer? My mom will take me to a pro. photo place where my brother and sister got their senior pics done. Can some photographers put together a comp card so you know exactly how it will turn out? What should you wear? Should a do a bathing suit picture if i'm 15? I'll do bathing suit shots, but will it look sl*ty? How should you do your hair, makeup, etc.?

So basically do you know the process of getting a comp card and/or portfilio made and/or how you should look in it?
