...I am looking for a list of stageplays that are frequently used in high schools, that are famous most of all for a kissing scene. I'm writing something, and need something good for the characters to allude to (a play that they would have been in in HS). It would be a big help, thanks in advance.

I want to be an actress and study drama as every one, including my teachers, say I have a talent. My mother, however, thinks it is a waste of time and I shouldn't do it and think about and aim for archeology (another thing I want to do). I don't know what to do. Am I wasting my time with the whole acting thing or should I still try?

(theatre geeks, take note: asking this question in mixed theatrical company may result in fistfights, hair-pulling, and thrown drinks.)

Calling all you theatre fans out there in 360Land! The question of the moment is...
Who is your favorite musical theatre composer?

Is Cole Porter the Top? Are you a girl who can't say no to Oscar Hammerstein II? Do you get giddy siezures for William Finn?

Who's your favorite Stephen? Flaherty, Sondheim, or Schwartz???

Would you take a chandelier on the noggin for Andrew Lloyd Webber? Ride the omnibus with Leonard Bernstein?

Which was greater, Lerner or Loesser?

Please be specific if you will; what shows or scores support your beliefs, what songs you prefer, et cetera.

will be directing this early next year. I'd like to have the vase fall and all of that at the end, and I would appreciate any suggestions as to "how did they *do* that?"

AWSOME...but that's my opinion. I thought that movie was great. I just saw it tonight. What did you think?

Its not that I don't enjoy playing dorky goofy roles. In fact, I am NOT trying to AVOID them. But I am trying to get out there on the other side of the spectrum. I know I am very capable. Like Robin Williams for example, from making you wet your pants to making you tear up. My goal is to be versatile.
