I am young and i dont have much experience. i sing infront of manyon stage abut i would love to be found to act. where do u get auditions like for movies without having to pick up ur stuff and leave. im from michigan and im only 13. help me out plz

I have been in many plays, and am now a very gifted singer, actor, and dancer. Many of my friends, fellow actors and directors tell me I have carrer potential, and it would be great to do that for a living. But acting is such a competative profession, and very few make it big. I would love to act, but Is it practical for an entire future?

I am an avid reader. I have no experience. Have never even been in a school play. Ok, I was mother nature in 1st grade. I have time on my hands this summer and I'm looking for a theater group on the northside Chicago area that would give me a chance to visit rehearsals, help with props,stand in, read lines, etc., and then maybe one day a tiny part.

I am an amateur actress. Never had any acting experience before. I have to play a woman who just found out she is pregnant and is nervous about telling her husband since neither of them are ready for it..financially or emotionally. How would you recommend to get into character? And if your gonna say go get pregnant then dont bother to answer. I need a genuine answer. Thanks!

All right...here's a poser.

It used to be that Broadway musicals were made into feature films. Nowadays, the opposite is true; for example, the currently running filmusical "The Wedding Singer" and others like "The Graduate" and "The Witches of Eastwick."
It used to be that Broadway set the tone for popular music. But today popular music sets the score for such shows as "Good Rockin' Tonight", "Jersey Boys" and "Altar Boyz."
It used to be that Broadway plays would get mentioned on TV shows. Now, those same shows are being turned into musicals as well, like "The Brady Bunch Musical" and "Gilligan's Island: The Musical."

So, here's your chance. Which book would make a wonderful play? What favorite movie needs to be a musical spectacular? Which of your favorite TV shows would make a great evening of live theatre? Do you play "Tomb Raider" and think to yourself "this needs to be seen onstage"?

Personally, I want to do a musical version of The Poseidon Adventure...with puppets.
