I am interested in acting and was wondering if anyone knew of any reasonably priced acting classes or workshops I could attend. I live in the Southern New Jersey area.

Call the theater department, of the community colleges and universities. Ask for refrerrals for acting classes. Also, call the YWCA/YMCA, they sometimes offer classes, as do Community Theaters.
If you are near the PathTrain, you can think about classes in Manhattan (although, they can be expensive, but you would have good training.)

Search for theater or acting workshops on Google. And it would help if you stated your age, because classes vary from different ages..
