I want to see a scary movie. But not that scary. Not that scary that I might be seeing things like ghost ghouls vampires.

See the Ring. It is the scariest I've ever seen.

Well but honey, if you don't want to see a scary movie with ghosts, ghouls or vampires, there isn't much left. And for heaven's sake, don't listen to people telling you to watch Texas Chainsaw Massacre or Hostel or anything else that's about cutting people into pieces. You'll have nightmares for a week.
Someone mentioned The Exorcist. That's a great movie, one of the scariest ever made, but if you're sensitive, I don't recommend it.
For just a little scary and funny too, try Ghostbusters.
For kind of scary, try "Dracula" from 1979 with Frank Langella. I know it's about vampires, but there's almost no fangs at all. It's sexy but not explicit. Both of these are on DVD.
Also, try "Frankenstein" from 1931 with Boris Karloff. It's not scary, but it's very sad in some parts.
There's a whole world of scary movies out there that are not the crap that's supposed to be horror that's made these days.

THE SHINING MADE IN 1980. THAT IS REALLY GOOD AND NOT TO SCARY. IT IS MORE REALER THAN THE OTHER MOVIES.
