Head shots are 8 x10 pictures black and white or color with your name printed below the picture.

The standard for actors is 8x10, AND in B&W. Before choosing a photographer, make sure he/she is willing to sign a release form, so that you can take the picture and get it massed produced. You'll need at least 500, because agents will request a lot at a time. Also, when getting them done, have your name printed on the buttom. There are several places. Also, once you submit head-shots, don't do anything drastic to change your looks...you should look like your picture. Also, don't tan beforehand.

8x10 and you can have it fill the entire page or have white borders on one or more sides.

AND they MUST have your name on the front. I work in a theatre and nothing is more aggrivating than filing headshots with the names on the back. Plus, most theatres hang up the headshots on the wall so people know who the actors are in a particular production. Let people start recognizing your name.

Headshots are 8*10 usually with a boarder around the edges. sometimes if actors run out of headshots they just print it on regular computer paper.

Only 8x10 photos are used. If you go to a professional headshot photographer for actors, he will khow what to do.
