Im going to a showing at midnight, im curious to what people do, what i should wear, and what i should bring.

I was told that there were 7 prior answers, but they didn't come up, so I apoligize if this is a duplication:
If you are just a spectator, it doesn't matter what you wear - just be as outragious as you feel at the moment - 50s kitch is perfect.
Take an umbrella, newspaper, bic lighter, and watch Rocky Horror Picture Show as many times as you can and try to memorize the scene sequence3 and dialogue. The first time you go, you will be surprised at the "group" response to the many of the lines - and those that come in "costume" and stand just in front of the screen. IT'S A HOOT - If you get off on it, you'll keep going back and you'll know what to wear, all the required responses and maybe you'll find some 'fellow travelers.'

I'm so jealous! I wish I were going to RHPS for the first time tonight! Depending where you're seeing it - it should be a fantastic time! Big sunglasses are never a bad idea! Same goes for sequins. Be prepared to be called out as a "virgin" and get involved in all sorts of madness! I wouldn't worry about actually bringing too many things your first time, though cards and a roll of "scott" brand toilet paper are easy! And something to jingle (keys work!). rockyhorror.org has text files of different "scripts" for the audience partci(SAYIT!)pation, if you want to get an idea before you go! Have a great time!

I loved the Rock Horror Picture show!!! We would always sing the songs during our drama class. You'll have a blast, just be yourself!!!

People bring rice and throw it during the wedding scene. If you are a guy you should dress up in women's lingerie like Dr. Frankfurter.

wear something you dont mind getting dirty...it is alot of fun if there is alot of people there...they will thrwo rice, tp, yell at the screen, be perverts...that sorta thing...it is good for everyone to go at least once though.....
