They are merely creations of the human mind, concepts forced upon society and of course society, being composed of mindless conformists, accepts them as law.

Specifically, if you knew that sacrificing the lives of (X) amount of people would result in world peace, would you let those people die? If yes, how many lives would you be willing to sacrifice?

I sure don't and I am sure NO ONE else does either. All this time he was the one to always tell us to take care because he cares, so now, let's tell him to take care because WE CARE.

I'd give up technology. All forms of it, except writing. Sound Amish much? Hmm. For one, I just feel we'd all communicate far better without it. Although I say this having 5 computers and 5 tvs and countless game consoles and mobiles in our house, among other things, so maybe I'm going a bit far.. but my family don't communicate now at ALL. It's like this in every other house I see now. Also, everyone is also obsessed with obtaining all these new tech gadgets. It's like, can't you have any fun or communication without it? I'd happily live without any tv and computer. I think cell phones are mostly needed, but really, I could do without it, I wouldn't miss it. If NO one used tech, I could achieve this want. But ofcourse It's impossible because technology is advancing constantly and no one wants to live in a world without it all. I sound old, I'm only 17 and everyone thinks I'm crackers. Oh well.

What do you think?

.............?
Man supposedly evolved from Monkeys {Primates} They are our closest relation in the animal world, and it has been proven that Man can control an animals behavior....So....If you give Primates Tools and Weapons ... Would they learn how to use them ? Would they have to be taught ? or would they be curious, then leave them alone and resume their Monkey life ?
______________________________...
Then part #2 of this question is ......If they ignore what was presented to improve their lives, How could we have possibly evolved from them ?

Right O.K, so lets say God created every thing...so does that mean he created evil? some people say people are evil because they don't have God's love in their hearts...so does that mean that all those people who aren't religious..."Evil." But if evil didn't exist than what would define Good.. and that would mean every thing we did...incuding murder - would be good??? What do u think?

Do you believe the idea of a clean slate, being able to start over new?Personally I do, because I believe that everyone is capable of learning from their mistakes, leaving their past resolved, and moving on with new wisdom, as long as they believe in themselves. Please tell me what you think, and why.

Philosophy concerns itself with ethics. Is it ethical to be ethical? Or is it right to be ethical, or wrong to be ethical?

Specifically, if it is unethical to harm another, and one's ethics do harm another, doesn't it then become unethical to be ethical?
