first of all success is a relative term. what may be a success for one person need not be success for another person. even for one individual, to call something as his success, he must define it to himself within paramaters. else how ever he rises up in life , he will still not consider it as a success (though others might consider him successful) . for me, i have not succeeded anything so far. im too young to attribute something as success to my credit. but nevertheless i will be a successful person in future ( success as considered by others, because i will not define success to myself within parameters). i chose my aim with regard to my passion. passion drives a person to success. it is a spirit which makes one achieve his goal. it is an on going thing. it makes us determined.it makes us strong and helps us rise even after a fall. it makes us enjoy what we do and does not make the work we do as a burden. without that passion it is difficult to achieve one's aim. and hence, i beleieve that passion drives one's aim and that aim in turn makes one successful as that passionate aim is put in to action.

No, I have never succeeded in my life as I have not aim. Being a wanderer of my life journey, I don't see the importancy of choosing aim(s).

It's for me a long journey and perhaps, with a little hope I can say that I may meet 'success' before ,however, this journey ends and before I reach my destination in this long pilgrim's walk.Well- I'm yet to find myself a tangible answer to the latter part of your question-- as I am still to choose and set an aim ,although life may till then seem purposeless.

I'm 19, a sophomore in college, undeclared, so no, i have not yet succeeded in life. I hope to though. My aim is to find the calling and to have a career which i really love and have a passion for. I hope this career pays me well enough to travel the world and support a wife who I truly love. Here is to hoping...

Oh, can't say that it was really 'successful', because no big performance in a commercial sense!
But the experience is that 'something' big chose what we should be, instead of even allowing us to choose any 'aim'!
In a sense, we were driven choicelessly into that joyous state of 'choicelessness' !

you choose your aim in life if you know exactly what fit your personality and abilities, you success if u tried your best to achieve your goals ,and always remember that the greatest failure is not to try and fail but to fail without trying!

How to measure the success of your life? Is everything what you want is not your aim? we all are working for that aren't we?

Through experience and observation, I always encourage people to choose specific goals in the long term, but allow freedom and latitude so that if something in life happens, that other options remain open. I always encourage people to consider what their long term goal is then ask "is what I am doing now consistent with what I have chosen as my goal?"

Choosing your goal is much easier if you start with smaller goals first. Once your confidence builds, exploring longer or life long goals is much easier to determine.

No success, because I have always chosen the path of least resistance-which often leads a person down the hardest road.

Yes. My aim from beginning was to do my duties sincerely and truthfully and remain satisfied with what I have.
