I can't live with my looks. It is unbearable. I've been called "dog, and monster" If you saw me you would be appalled. This is not a joke.

The message of the Book of Numbers is unmistakeably clear. Priests are specifically chosen by God. This has nothing to do with desire or ability. God’s choice alone is determinative. Even among those closest to liturgical service (the Levites), the choice to be a priest is not theirs but the Lord’s. Moreover, the reason there is a priesthood in the first place is that God desires a portion of the people to be in an exclusive relationship with Himself in order to bring salvation to all by offering atonement for sin.

Properly understood, a special priesthood chosen "God knows how by God knows whom" is precisely what we must cherish, honor and support.

If this is in fact the belief, why would God chose some of these sick s.o.b.s to be in such a position of power and trust

Why is it that even if we seek acknowlegment it is not fulfilling? Someone said that what people are looking for is authentic expression of themselves. In society, there is a certain expectation if not being perfect but ideal, like an exceptation of being considerate, brilliant, and sharp-witted i.e. putting aside an hour a day to help or learn a trade from someone else. Also, being "smart" as in common sense and a quick learner. The thing is that it is our human nature to be selfish. You can never be totally relinguish of that. If you are not feeling an urge to help others, then how can you?

Something that depresses and scares me a lot is that it is probably that when I die my consciousness will be gone forever. It seems impossible that your own (metaphorical) universe will ever collapse and cease to exist.

What do you think happens if you die? Are you personally scared? Be truthful, thanks.

I mean, what is the purpose of being here? Is there any purpose that even handsome people get older and sick and finally we all are gone? Is there a superior purpose or everything is like the song says "dust in the wind"? If my illusions are false, must I feel comfortable with the idea that my life is just one firework in the night?
