A picture is worth a thousand words. An experience is worth a thousand pictures. The more 'real' something seems to us, the more empathy we have for it. Likewise, when we are trying to consider a matter of which we know little, we find it hard to summon much enthusiasm. If there is no photograph or drawing and just some vague description, we simply turn our attention towards something more interesting. large and small are all, ultimately, about communication. If you now need someone to understand something, draw them a picture or better still, give them an experience they can relate to.

By the way this is the correct version -

There was a little man and he had a little crumb,
And over the mountain he did run.
With a belly full of fat and a big tall hat,
And a pancake stuck to his bum, bum, bum

THIS IS A NURSERY RHYME FOR RECITING TO BABIES 6 - 9 MONTHS OLD ...lol

Once there lived a little man
By the mountains with his chum
Who was like a big round rat
One day when his belly was full -
When his belly was full of fat
And he wore a big tall hat
He ran to the mountains rat a tat a tat
With his pancakes splat a splat
Smacked upon his bum pat a pat
Who was that?

His name was mub, and he tried to rub the pancakes off his bum, he sat on his hat & turned this way and that, but finally had to sucumb, to the fact that the fat, in his belly did detract
from the plan to release his bum. His weight was too great for him to generate the spin required to free him, so with finger and thumb he had to free his bum, like peeling pancakes of a ceiling.

His name is "And"

There was a little man "And"
he did run
"And" off to the mountains
he did run
with a belly full of fat...

Would make sense as a story if we changed "And" to "Fred", so I'm thinking "And" is his name...

There was a little man "Fred"
he did run
"Fred" off to the mountains
he did run...
