Sadly, sometimes hope really does come from beautiful lies.

Hope is really a wish or a desire of an outcome in some future time. When one states, "I hope..." One is merely translating the feeling " from the heart" into verbal coinage others can understand so that others may support or feel supported.

Evolution.
Intelligent beings evolve all the time. We are improving minute by minute. And we hope to do better today than yesterday.
Hope actually is the plan for better future.
I believe that hope was here before all evolution. Like fish walking and then flying, camouflage on skin etc...

Hope is classified as a theological virtue. This classification means that hope is something given to us by God to help us look forward to better things.

A more secular approach is to think of hope as the ability of our reason to forecast better things for us in the future. We know that the result of an action could be one thing or another -- hope leads us to the better outcome.

Hope is failure of reason and memory.

It is not a "thing" so much as a "non-thing" ... for it is the opposite of that which lets us learn from our mistakes. Rather those with hope will dismiss their failures and repeat the actions that led to them....
But causality is consistant.... and they will fail again... and the consequences will mount up.

It doesn't "come from" anywhere. When you take away understanding.... hope is what is left behind.

hope is somewhat a variation or an evolution of our self-preservation instinct. can you just decide to stop breathing and actually died from it? can you actually get a knife slit your throat suffer for serveral minutes, feel you blood gush and coldness take over? or maybe if you have a problem would just sleep over it and hope it solves itself?

we dont like to fail, and we hate to fail and we will do everything we can to succeed, however if we do fail there is always a voice saying that i wish i wont fail. when you have done everything and things are out of control. our desires to succeed takes over and wishes or 'hopes' to succeed. where ever we get our will and determination to achieve what we want, is probably where we also get our 'hope'.

it comes from your dreams and aspirations and the understanding that the past is behind us, the present is ever with us and hope is what all those unknown things that have to be is wrapped in.
