I mean to ask that in this trecherous and mean world where do you draw the line between what is virtuous and what is not. What may seem totally wrong to some may seem absolutely right for some and if you hear to them, each of them have their convictions and arguments right. Then how do you differentiate?

I'm thinking of that saying "If you've nothing nice to say, it is better to say nothing at all"

But all claims to truth could have some positive value, even the most, well, un-nice things to say.

Why can't it ever just be fair? The grass is always greener on the other side....

Do you think life gets more fair as you get older..?

I find the term postmodernism to be rather derogatory, somewhat silly, and all to ironic. There has to be a better term -- any suggestions? If your answer is an established term, please let me know where you've seen it used. If you're coining your own term, please let me know that too.

I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones."---------

My guess is that he meant that in WW3 the world as we know it would be destroyed.. because he witness firsthand the destruction that the atomic bomb (which he created) caused... He imagined that if his bomb he created could cause so much devastation.... the technology available during WW3 would destroy the world as we know it so much that when ww4 began... We (humans) would fight like we used to back in the days... with stick and stones, maybe swords but I dunno... I think he is right!!

I always thought 2007 would have flying cars and robot maids. Am I the only one a little disappointed with how the "future" turned out?

The quote by Marianne Williamson,
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

can someone give me an analysis of it?! especially the beginning of it. I'm writing a paper on success and being afraid to be great.
