"Belief is a beautiful armor
But makes for the heaviest sword
Like punching under water
You never can hit who you're trying for

.........
........
.......
.........

Everyone believes
From emptiness to everything
Everyone believes
And no ones going quietly

We're never gonna win the world
We're never gonna stop the war
We're never gonna beat this
If belief is what we're fighting for".

What are your thoughts? I'm just curious on people's thoughts. There are no right answers, and I will not judge you based on your opinion. This is more of an opinionaire, really.

John Mayer, "Belief", from Continuum.
(this song is a good song, so listen to it in it's entirety)

Someone asked me this, and I thought it was an interesting question.

When you think about it, we have to be taught good manners, how to respect other people, and how to not be so selfish. Do you think we are still good people even if we were not taught these things?

This author argues the models of science and mathematics are self contradictory and paradoxical and as such are meaningless. The models may work but the models are are just like myths and science and mathematics nothing but examples of mythical thinking and prelogical primative thought. What do you think

Our planet revolves, rotates, spins. The other planets don't move in straight lines. The shapes of objects in space are spherical, rounded, oblong. Sound waves are not straight. Light bends, arcs. Atomic particles are round. I rarely observe straight lines in natural phenomena, and can't think of any scientific reason why time should move in a straight line.
