I would say it is better to regret something that you did, even though you may regret it at least you did it and you will no spend the rest of your life regretting not doing it. Get it better to have the experience and if you regret it afterward you will have to deal with it. Better to have tried something and regret it rather than regretting having never tried it.

It all depends. Both can deal you heartache. How many people regret not doing something to prevent 9/11? And then there are those that regret that someone did something on 9/11.

I have no regrets in my life. I think that everything happens to you for a reason. The hard times that you go through build character, making you a much stronger person.
We must all suffer from one of two pains: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The difference is discipline weighs ounces while regret weighs tons.
Forget regret, or life is yours to miss, simple.

We can live with no regrets; This ride's not over yet. How can we change the paradigm of social caste when the victims are the same ones that slave for the corporations? This episode's resolving and we can change it; a revolution's calling and I'd like to think that I'm not alone. Are we all alone in this?

When one door closes, another opens; but we often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us. (Alexander Graham Bell)
Do not regret:but you should know this,
Past: Say you feel bad about it and will never do it again and ((((mean it)))).
Present:Dont do it. Promise.
Future:Promise you will never do ever again for the rest of your life.
- In the end to everything it comes back to your intension. Remember your intesion.

Definitely what you didn't do or didn't try to do.
That country song came out a few years ago; "live like you are dying." and it really changed the way I look at things.
I actually got the chance to "fly" a Cessna!!
I was scared, but exhilarated!
