Imagination followed and supported by first gaining then applying the knowledge is the path for success. Imagination, without the hard-work to gain an insight or knowledge on that particular subject and then applying the knowledge in the right way, will make one a daydreamer only.

I figure you would have an imagination if you didn't have knowledge of it. They kinda rely on one another. Ex. My digital 8 track recorder it took a week to read the manual, still aint finished but i would not be able to record my music with out knwing how to use it. And my fingers wouldn't move if i had no knowledge of it. Keep both sister, though you dont have to be a nerd to have intelligence.

I would say both. Without imagination you never come up something which later could become knowledge. Knowledge would make you a better person.

Imagination is the basis of knowledge. Knowledge wouldn't have been knowledge if it hadn't been for imagination. ppl imagine , and when they imagine they search, when they search they gain and make knowledge to make their imaginations come true.

You cannot separate them. You cannot have an imagination without knowing something either by seeing it, hearing it, reading it or touching it. And you cannot further your knowledge or use it without an imagination.

Knowledge for certainty is more admirable than fantasies of ur imagination. U can't literally survive with imagination but u can with knowledge.
