IS this the philosophy section??? P&S answers I think ... and for the love answerers - love doesn't HURT, try betrayal or fear or regret etc .... its more likely to be one of those.

I could go with the typical answers of sex, deep tissue massage or love and I agree that all of those can hurt and feel good but I'd probably say an extremely hot steamy bath would hurt but then feel oh, so good.

All the other answers might feel good after hurting for awhile. But the number one thing that feels good but hurts is being yourself.
People may not understand you, they may not like you, but being yourself and not succumbing to the pressure of family and friends is only way to do that.
