Kind of like when people say..."i wish I was more outgoing" or " I wish I wasnt so mean". I guess mines would me " I wish I could treat my be let loose a little more with my hubby" Im really uptight, I joke around with my friends about other women but get so angry when he mentions one. I feel bad and I wish I could change that. Anyways, back to my question, why is it so hard to be somebody you dont want to be?

how could u love god?

you dont even know what he looks like..nobody does..
you havent even met him
you only know about him because people told you about him,or read him in a book
you dont know his voice
u know nothing about him, only stories and the bible..
but thats only how far it goes..
then suddenly you have to developt trust?have faith?love?blablabla..
"and if you ask is that too much too ask for"?
you bet your g*d made as* it is..

and as far as love goes....that doesnt mean anything..that wont make any ****** sense

he said he made man in his image...take a look around, what in the hell is mankind doing now...its a disgrace.

fear gives you respect and control
i say the only reason why people worship him is that because they think that there is heaven and if you folllow the ten commandments guide book you get the heaven pass. the bible states that there is hell, maybe there is.but what if there is not, would anybody care.

No time travel here. Just wondering if there's a particular time and place in history you feel would have suited you better.

I know this query is quite unthinkable but I'd like to know how people in this community react and present some ideas as evidenced from our past and present academic and professional achievements worldwide, thanks.

as if asking me to scream
thru the smoke it seems to be
that we abuse reality

our sights distorted thru the green
dont fool yourself to be naieve

I know some people who thinks they know everything. ANd they make it a point they are involved in the life of other people. They never want to admit they are wrong and make sure everything is is in their favor. It's not that I let them in mine, but I just can't imagine how these people can just think things and ways that would benefit them.

So, what do you all believe is the meaning?

Some people work hard and fail, while others do nothing and succeed. Some bad people get rich, while some good people get poor. What accounts for this? Whats your take on it?

This older college professor, Morrie Schwartz, was a victim of ALS, a nerve condition that would eventually end in his death. In response to his illness, he began to 'mentor' an enormous amount of people and even ended up having his own Nightline mini-series.

In the book, Tuesdays with Morrie, Morrie is quoted to say,

"Love is the only rational action."

Does anyone agree with this? Do they disagree? How does this reflect how we perceive emotions? PLEASE EXPLAIN YOUR ANSWERS!

It is often said that respect is of the up-most importance. I agree with this 100% but what about you?

My Questions:

How do you view Respect?
How do you show Respect?
Do you think Respect is of upmost importance?
Where is Respect dirived from?
Why is it so hard to Respect those you despise?
Should you give Respect to those who don't Respect you?

You don't have to answer all of these, but please explain your answers.

Thanks!!!
