Do Americans like the British?

When I was 8 a British girl new to elementary school beat my *** on the playground. But I kind of had it coming :-)

Plus, where did some of the best rock come from? Yep, I definitely would love to meet some.

I can't speak for all Americans, but I myself do like the British. All the British people I've ever met I've found to be very charming and I adore the British accent! I think the British (and in particular British authors) have a great sense of humor and are very witty, but are classy and sophisticated at the same time. So this American likes the British.

Strangely about the same percentage of Americans feel exactly the same way about the same percentage of the British as each believes the other feels about them.

There was this British guy at work once and the females kept following him around. He caught me by myself one day and asked me why the females were always around him. I told him they love your British accent. It doesn't matter what you say, you can talk about the weather to them, they just want to hear you talk. So he did, and all the other males were jealous of him and hated him.

Speaking for myself .. I love the British. I'd live in England if I could. I sat in on the House of Commons and the House of Lords one day as a visitor .. it was fantastic. I love the accent .. and how friendly people are there !!! :)

Used to, but I always meet cocky @$$holes who are overly smug and think their farts smell like roses, so I am beginning to not like them.
