So many ends to chose from ,the Planet will always survive ,but life such as Animals and Humanity will have a hard time not to become extinct

All the predictions hover between 2012 and 2020
the computor projections of the magnetic output of the worls suggests it comes to a halt in 2012(Terrance McKenna´s time wave)this means the one side burns while the other side freezes,and when we move again in the other direction the resulting tidal waves will clean this planet like a giant washing machine.

if the Americans have their way with a nuclear global conflict it may be sooner,at least for all the millions who do not have underground cities to hide in.

Looks like the Gods are determined to give us a hard time

why does the world have to end. the only religion that preaches a total world end is all the different sects of Christianity. (no offense to any Christians at all) but if you dont happen to believe that why should the world end. there are a lot of bad things that happen but more people are born everyday than are killed and there is more uninhabited land than there is inhabited. if a city is lost they can go somewhere else(tsunami, Katrina,etc.). there is no reason in my mind why if you believe in god, he would kill his perfect creation away just because they dont accept a man-proclaimed-god person a savior, even if they are in an uncivilized or uneducated area. also, they are trying to find ways to support life in space- be it far fetched, yes but they are still trying to do it. so whatever your faith or thought is i hope i havent offended but i personally dont see a 'dooms day' in the near future.
also comets pass us every year some close others not, they leave debris but by the time it hits our atmosphere its burned into little bits.

there is no such information if what you mean is that an asteroid will hit the Earth. besides the undeniable fact that, if any such chance exists, i have heard that we've the technologies to deliver yet another man made merchandise, of significant mass, so as that gravitational power differences the path of the first celestial merchandise. although, a collision between our galaxy and a close-by galaxy (Andromeda) is easily going to ensue yet in million of years.
