Hi Kid Vicious,
I once spoke to a man, that had died and was brought back 4 minutes later due to medical assistance.... When I asked him what he felt as he was dying.. he simply responded "I'm not really sure".. he said when it was occurring, he felt as if he was watching it from the outside.. as if he was watching a movie of his very own death... But he wasn't quite sure if it was during or after his death...
>>>>>
Personally,I'd like to believe.. it was after his short death that he was "watching" himself... It would be proof that we certainly do have an after-life... There are some that believe once you die, you are non-existent and have no such awareness of your death... Nothingness basically... As far as science goes, once the brain dies you no longer exist... But if this is true, if this man I spoke to was indeed looking upon his lifeless corpse... There's no way it was his brain providing this consciousness... According to science anyway...
>>>>
Perhaps, the brain is just a short lodging of our memories and thoughts... Perhaps we do in fact live on...........
Thanks, for the question!;)
My regards! .. and be strong, your uncle will always live on.. in your heart...

I don't believe that we EVER die, truly. We shed ourselves of our physical beings and free our souls once again to live in the spiritual dimension. It is not really a death, but a rebirth into a different form of life with a broader perspective and expanded awareness of the true nature of reality. Some theories state that upon entering the spiritual dimension we are greeted by loved ones and guided or oriented into our new life for the first little while. Then we find a renewed purpose and go on with life. We still have the freedom to choose and we can stay there or come back or go elsewhere and live a different kind of physical life. The possibilities are endless.

My beloved baby sister just passed away at Xmas and I know she went to a better place. I hear from certain other psychic people, that it's great. A place of peace and light and tranquility. Any near-death experiences that I've heard about, all report similar visions of going toward a light and feeling a great sense of calm and beauty. And when they do return to their lives, all are no longer afraid of dying. They got a preview of what it's like on the "other side". So, I think it's just a transition we will all go through. Energy is neither created or destroyed, but it merely changes form. As I'm sure we all will too. Another reality, but all a natural part of our life cycles. Sounds O.K. to me. Maybe you should read some books on the near-death experiences of others, and then you'd see it all more clearly!

I just think we feel peace. I know I have a soul that will move on. My energy is positive and it will never die. I have a strong feeling that I will see my grandmother's again one day. Death is scary because life is so lovely. I enjoy everyday so much that things just go my way. Death will be the same. My only thought on death is I hope I die next my true love. Think of your uncle and smile, he is not dead... he's there... he is living through you right now.

Lack of awareness. I don't believe you'll ever experience yourself being dead, just like I don't remember experiencing anything before I was born. Could be easily compared to sleep. You won't even know it. It's just bam, lack of awareness. So all the more reason to live life to the fullest.

Your soul leaves the body once it's dead so the body does not feel. the soul goes to a higher plane of existence, since I've never died i can't imagine what that would be hopefully it's all good.

It's hard for humans to understand but it's not like anything. The switch is turned off, poof. There is nothing, no memory, no "sleep", no regrets. You are as dead as any animal n the side of the road.

Just the same as it was like before you were born. You are unaware of it, know nothing, feel nothing, remember nothing. And yet you did exist then, in a way. You existed in the form of your ancestors. Your genes existed but had not yet combined to form you. In the same way, your genes live on after you die. You are never gone forever.

It's not 'like' anything. Why should it be? Humans insist on there being something to relate everything back to. There isn't something for this question to be related to thus, it cannot be answered in a way that you or anybody else will understand.

You won't know unitl it happens and no one can tell you beacuse they aren't alive to do it and anyone that tells you that they've had a near death experience still doesn't know becasue they are still alive which means they never got the chance to finish dying
