My father has recently had a book published and I would like to help him promote it. We live in a small city in Alabama and only have one bookstore. The book is called Absolute Justice by David Cauthen and it is great reading! Can anyone give me any ideas as to how to help him promote this book?

Tolstoy's "War And Peace"?
I can't make up my mind to read it or not. 1400 pages (the beautiful Folio edition). The alternative is Rutherfurd's "The Forest". If you've read any of these books, please give me your opinion.

Okay....so i'm wrighting a pirate story...and i have been for a while...this is #5 to be exact. So i used to wright, "I, a mere 13 year old can not get into this scene this much." and then i would make a whole page of smiles. So now...I am NOT a mere 13 year old....but a 14 year old. ;) So now i don't have to type that and i CAN get into that scene. But the question is...should i and how far should i get into it?? It is between Davy Jones's wife, Calypso, and the Vampire Lestat :). Hot, huh? So....how far should i go, people?!?!?!?

I've never really liked ready, probably because if the book does not get my attention right away I won't finish reading it. But I decided to read "The Da Vinci Code" and was absolutely amazed, then I read "Angels and Demons" and was blown away further, best book I have ever read. "Deception Point" was good as well. So what other books do you recommend?
