The Last of the Red-Hot Vampires by Katie MacAlister.

It's kind of like Twilight and New Moon (I love vampire romance!) but for a much older crowd (I don't know why I have it, I'm not even sixteen). It's about a woman who is a skeptic. Believes in nothing that science can't prove. Then a virtue from the Court of Divine Blood grants her the gift that virtues have: weather. (a virtue is, for lack of a better way to put it, a weather angel. Court of Divine Blood: Basically heaven.)

Then she has to go through seven trials to become a member of the court, since she's mortal, and Theo, a nephilim (child of a Court Member and a mortal), needs her to be granted into the Court of Divine Blood and becomes her champion. (An assistant to her while she undergoes the trials.)

During the trials, Bael (Satan), prime prince of Abbadon (hell) makes Theo a Dark One (vampire). Portia is his Beloved (his female soul mate that can get him his soul back)

They end up in love and yadda yadda yadda. It's funny, romantic, and not intended for young crowds. (Again: Why do I have it?)

I know this is the most common answer but I've read Wuthering Heights during this summer and it was quite romantic in its own way.

I'm also planning to read the trilogy (no angel, into temptation and something dangerous) by penny vincenzi during this summer

"Morrigan's Cross" by Nora Roberts. It's book one in the Circle Trilogy. Very romantic, but kind of creepy, too! I love the vampire-witch thing!

Twilight and New Moon by Stephenie Meyer. I know someone has already said that, but I love those books, too! They are really interesting, especially if you like those type of romance novels with vampires and all of that stuff.

Breathing Paris by Erin Headley. The characters are very easy to relate to and it is very difficult to put down. Everyone I know who has read it has loved it. I highly recommend it. You can visit www.erinheadley.com for more info.
