Well, the Internet Public Library says this is an unanswerable question, since records are not kept in such a way that the absolute best selling of all time can be determined. They then list 10 books that sold over 10,000,000 copies which range from Johnathan Livingston Seagull to Gone with the Wind to To Kill a Mockingbird.

So I don't know how you're going to award the 10 points, since you obviously have found a site that tells you a specific thing which probably can't be proved.

The Bible doesn't qualify (the library system rates it as a non-fiction reference work) and the Harry Potter series has sold 325 million and she is the FIRST billionare author.

Although I do suppose some of Mark Twain and they guy who did the Chrsitmas Caroll might top it in total sales.

How about giving us more hints? Is it a single book? Or a series? Is it adult or teen, or possibly even a children's book? If it is childrens, I'd say the Warrior series, you know, the one about the cats. Even I have that series on my bookshelf. Teen...thats hard. The Unfortunate Events or whatever, by Lemony Snicket? And adult? I dunno, not an adult yet. Probably something by Clive Cussler, we have those books all over our house.
