I feel like Im missing something..
Beyond the dirt and dust swirling out the window B knew her future depended on her ability to remain strong. Breaking into this vacation villa was still scary for her, she had to fight her fears of the police finding her just to get two hours of sleep. She knew better than to fight the feeling of icicles poking through her flesh, like nausea it seemed to flow through her body like a drug. Rising slowly the room screamed at her, “you have to get a hold of whatever has a hold of yourself B.” Hearing her own voice reminded her of who she would rather be hearing. B slowly reclined imagining his face the first time they met, how it was a strange reflection of how she felt. Every time she dreamed of him she imagined the times they had made love which seemed to be all rolled into one time, one place, one feeling. Blindfolded she was sure she would know the touch of his finger amongst 10,000 men and she didn't have to tell him that, he knew.

I know there is much speculation about which side Snape is in....I am re-reading all 6 books while waiting for the 7th one to come out and I have found several pieces of foreshadowing that Rowling has introduced, which at the time may not have meant much but with the knowledge acquired with the following books might make sense....while reading book 4, Goblet of Fire, in the scene where Lord Voldemort regains his body and his power, he is talking to the Death Eaters who have answered the call...at the time we know there were 3 "ex" Death Eaters at Hogwarts: Snape, Karkaroff and Crouch Jr....at some point Voldemort says that six of his followers are missing, 3 who are in Azkaban, one who is too cowardly to come back (probably Karkaroff), one who has definitely left his side (this could be Snape) and one who is still his faithful servant (obviously Crouch Jr.)...What do you think?

Have you read this book? If so, what did you think of it? Is it worth my spending $7?

Incidentally, I posted this question in the Religion and Spirituality section and asked them not to respond if they hadn't read it. Almost everyone ignored this. Please only respond if you have read the book and can give me a critique of its contents from a position of firsthand knowlege.

Thanks in advance!
Tom

I know what the plot is but not the author or the title. Livvie is a teenaged girl who is going on tour with her father who is a rock star. There she meets the lead singer of a younger band who is on tour with her dad's band (I think his name is Nick) and they fall in love.

Okay, I've read many many books recently but I tend to always pick out ones that lose my interest almost immediately. There are two books I loved, though. "Cut" by Patricia McCormick and "Smack" by Melvin Burgess.

Does anyone know of a book that is similar to those? I'm a teen and I like books I can relate to, but the normal teen books about being pretty and the pressures of high school just doesn't interest me so please don't list any thing like that.

Thanks in advanced! <3

There was this great book I read in school that I thought the title was "Lilys Pond" It was about a girl that stayed with her Grandmother by the ocean I believe? I've searched it and found nothing. I'd really like to read this again if anyone knows anything!

I'm sorry if you were offended by my question.

Though I do find it offensive being called selfish.

I wasn't promoting stealing.

I don't make a habit of this either. And I do not encourage you to keep any library books.

I'm off to other sections. Bye.

If you haven't, you should. It's an awesome book. My mom's book club was reading it and I picked it up when they were through.

If you have read it, can you please suggest to me some similar books? Thanks in advance! =)

It starts like the passion of the Christ, the last days of Jesus before he's crusified, it's a WHAT IF story, Jesus starts having doubts if it's worth dying for humanity's sins, the situation is made worse by a Character spat from hell to 'persuade' Jesus how much he can do with his powers, Jesus tries to ignore the messenger from Hell, however a series of events (cant type all the details) leads to Jesus using his powers to punish those who tried to crusify him, it angers God that he descends down to Earth in his human form to confront Jesus, at the same time satan makes a rare appearance on Earth, a three way battle of words starts, after living for years with humanity, J believes humanity should be led with an iron fist, God believes in a free world, Satan wants to join forces with Jesus and conquer the world and heavens, however Jesus feels no need for Satan, so they disagree, with Satan leading Hell, Jesus leading Earth and God rulling the heavens, a three way battle is on its way
