I know what the plot is but not the author or the title. Livvie is a teenaged girl who is going on tour with her father who is a rock star. There she meets the lead singer of a younger band who is on tour with her dad's band (I think his name is Nick) and they fall in love.

Sloveniangirl, if no one comes up with your book here you can always try the following website: http://whatsthatbook.com/

It's a neat website. You give them as much info as you have on the book you're looking for, and they'll do their best to find the title for you. Try them, they're totally free!

Good luck on your book search, and happy reading! :-)

Sorry, I looked for it but had no luck. Fortunately, there are many other websites that specialize in this kind of thing. If nobody answers it correctly here, try posting your description at one or more of these websites:

http://forums.abebooks.com/abesleuthcom
AbeBooks.com's "BookSleuth Forum" is an interactive message forum where you can get instantaneous feedback on your description. Make sure you read the "TIPS" thread before posting, because it contains a lot of information to help you formulate a good post. Members are from all over the world. It is free, but you must register before posting.

http://www.loganberrybooks.com/stump.html
Loganberry Books is a small, independent bookstore in Ohio. For two dollars (you can pay by PayPal), the owner will post your query to the "Stump the Bookseller" page and readers from all over will try to solve it. This is the oldest place on the web that I know of that ID's books, and I've seen a lot of success here. It is most definitely worth the two dollars they ask for. They have been featured on NPR and in the New York Times.

http://www.whatsthatbook.com
This is a relatively new website, but seems to be fairly well attended. You have to register to post.

http://www.auntbook.com
Not as popular as the other sites, but a very interesting presentation and she finds a lot of them.

Good luck; I hope you find your book!
