There was this great book I read in school that I thought the title was "Lilys Pond" It was about a girl that stayed with her Grandmother by the ocean I believe? I've searched it and found nothing. I'd really like to read this again if anyone knows anything!

I loved Lily's Crossing! World War II fiction is a favorite genre of mine, anyway, but when it's set on the homefront, I find that even better. Giff is an extremely talented writer and deserved her Newbery Honor for that book.

Your local public library should have it, or if you want to order it, here's a link: http://www.amazon.com/Lilys-Crossing-Newbery-Honor-Book/dp/0385321422/?tag=24680e-20
