Okay, I've read many many books recently but I tend to always pick out ones that lose my interest almost immediately. There are two books I loved, though. "Cut" by Patricia McCormick and "Smack" by Melvin Burgess.

Does anyone know of a book that is similar to those? I'm a teen and I like books I can relate to, but the normal teen books about being pretty and the pressures of high school just doesn't interest me so please don't list any thing like that.

Thanks in advanced! <3

I have not read the books that you listed so I am not sure what they are about... however why don't you try the 13th circle...it is about a girl who is raped and her relationship with her father..... Go Ask Alice and It Happened to Nancy that someone reccomended above are very good too.

Crank is good...
King Dork had a lot of hype, but personally I found it to be boring and stupid, but you may like it...
Try "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time" It's not a teen book, but it's very very good.

I really liked White Oleander, and if you have seen the movie it is different enough that you won't lose interest.
