I know everyone says Shakespeare, but who else?

I have read a few pages of Catch-22 and found it to be horridly tough but I think it gets easier, does it?

Well what is the hardest thing you have read but got through and liked?

I love what is called "foodie" mysteries. These are mysteries that have a tie in with cooking or the food industry. Writers like Joanna Fluke and Diane Mott Davison are good examples of this genre. I'm looking for a new series to read. Recipes are a must!!

I have noticed that a lot of people have questions about Harry Potter! I am pretty much a Harry Potter Expert! (not bragging cause a lot of people are)! So if anyone has any questions about the books, movies, or predictions about upcoming movies and the book, Just ask away. I will try to answer them. It's easier than taking away points by asking questions. Ha! Just ask the question and I will get you the answer. And I am making a list of questions that I want answered in the 7th book. I am going to post the list on my website for other fans to answer! So... Any Question/Predictions Will help! Thanks!

I read this when I was 12. It was about a little girl who lived in a foster home. For some reason, she goes to stay with her aunts and they're mean to her. Her uncle is the only one in her family who treats her nice. Later in the story, she discovers a dollhouse in one of her aunts rooms where the dolls are alive. She loves spending time with the dolls and at the end of the book her uncle passes away and she goes to the dollhouse to console herself and her uncle is one of the figurines. I can't remember the name of it and wanted to read it again.

I have recently notice that I have problems writing good female characters with real depth, instead of shallow "wife of..." in my stories. While my male characters go from a melancholic office clerk living in a large metropolis from a wild, mad tycoon playboy and a southamerican dictator that convices himself that he is "doing the right thing for the nation". I have problems developing female characters

I think that trying to write a leading female character would be a great excersice I have this idea that is a little clichéd story but I think may help me to write

Any advice would help and will be thanked by advance

Do you agree with me that in harry potter 7 that it will reveal that james (harry's dad) is actual crookshanks in animagus form, that he only died in his human form...becuase in harry potter three it never says what james's animagus is... and prongs, his nickname, means something that sticks out...probably crookshanks tail...dumbldore knew where to find james's invisablity cloak nad he knew to give it to harry is becuase JAMES TOLD DUMBLEDOR!!!

...When I was in year 2 (6/7 years old) my teacher used to tell us a story/poem about a big scary man who would come round to kids houses and chop little children's thumbs off if they sucked them. I can't remember what it's called or who wrote it. I'm hoping one of you fine people will have a clue? Please help, it's driving me mad. Cheers x

Anyone have any good suggestions on books to read for a young adult?

Previous books that I have enjoyed are:
Harry Potter Series
Memiors of a Geisha
Gossip Girl Series
Wrinkle in Time...

Mostly I like books with a little bit of suspense in them, little bit of supernatural, and historical fiction.
