How do muggle parents get wizard money for their children attending Hogwarts? Is there some kind of way to exchange muggle money for wizard money? I am only on book 3 right now and I have been curious.

And what is the print number line and where can I find it? Its a question someone on Ebay asked me about some Harry Potter books I'm selling. Its the first 4 and they look just like the versions most people have. Like the ones on Barnesandnoble.com

My friend and I are planning to come up with a coffee table book (maybe a hundred pages at most). She's a photographer and I am a writer. However, we're quite torn with regards to choosing the subject or topic we should focus on (something along the lines of nature or culture perhaps). What subject or topic would be interesting for you? Any recommendations?

I just started reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix, when I saw the word "Squibb". What the heck is a Squibb? I mean I've seen it before but I forgot what it is. THANK YOU!!

The follow paragraph is quoted from Martin Amis "Time's Arrow"

"......Once he approached the altar and extinguished a candle on the chest there, and pocketed a few imperceptible coins. A single glace at the crucified Christ, the worshipped corpse: a figure bent like a branch whose shape has changed in the stretching agony of fire. Above our head, an unregarded observatory of light. Then out again to open air and the waiting carabinieri, and the dumbshow of pappacieri and papieri."

I know the stroy-time in this novel is backward. I know the narrator had arrived at Italy. But I don't know what is "an unregarded observatory of light" and the three queer words: carabinieri, pappacieri and papieri.

Who can explain for me?

I am in the mood to read but I have a tough time reading if I am not into the story. I loved The Bleachers by John Grisham, so I was wanting to see what suggestions anyone had along that line or anything with sports involved.

with all this hoopla over whether he's good or not, I would just like to remind everyone that most wizards and witches are able to cast spells without saying them out loud. is it not plausible that he cast a spell to make dumbledore appear dead so that malfoy wouldn't have to do it or be seen not doing it?

this is not a question for anyone who only watches the movies. the movie version of HP have misrepresented spells on several occasions in order to play up to the movie going crowd.

I obsessed with Romance stories! you know the ones that pull you in when you hold you breath on every single word? That kind! They're awesome, I'd like them to be the type of romance in movies like "The Blue Lagoon" "The Phantom of the Opera" ETC. ETC. Young adult romance is also good! Do you have any suggestions?

He is or used to be a writer for David Letterman. He wrote an unauthorized biography of George Bush. He says he couldn't get anybody to talk to him so he just made it up. It's probably pretty funny. What's the authors name? Robert something. Thanks.
