No, I do not think Harry's scar is a horcrux because of a very important two to three paragraphs on page 473 of the UK Adult edition of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Dumbledore is speaking of Nagini (Voldemort's snake) being the sixth and final Horcrux when he says, "He seems to have reserved the process of making Horcruxes for particularly significant deaths. You would certainly have been that." If we stop with this statement, the theories of Harry's scar could be valid, however, Dumbledore a few lines down makes another statement that to me signifies that Harry is not a horcrux. Dumbledore says, "As we know, he failed. After and interval of some years, however, he used Nagini to kill an old Muggle man, and it might then have occurred to him to turn her into his last horcrux." Here is my proof, but it is your call until July 21st, when we truly find out whether all of the theories we've had are just rubbish or if there is some truth to them after all.

No, because (as I understand it) a horcrux has to be an object. Since Harry's scar is part of him, it would mean that Harry himself is a horcrux. I don't believe this to be true, so no.
Also, horcruxes are "receptacles in which a Dark wizard has hidden a fragment of his soul for the purposes of attaining immortality" Harry got the scar when Voldemort's "Avada kedavra" spell backfired and killed Voldemort himself. Hardly the time to look around for a good object to put your soul in.

Wouldn't it be wicked if it were the phoenix or something? I do love that phoenix...
I remember, after reading the book, that I knew what the horcrux was, something that Harry possessed? It wasn't the scar, I know, but I can't think of what it was!
Oh, curious. Now that I've been thinking, Both Voldemort and Harry have feathers from Fawkes... horcrux! Okay, I really doubt it, but I'm trying.

I thought about it....if it were, Harry would have to sacrifice himself in order to save everyone else. While that could make for a good story and story ending...I rather hope it's not the case! The only thing that keeps me wondering about it, though, is how firm J.K. Rowling is that there will be no way for other stories to be written (by her or others) about Harry Potter. The only way I can see that being an absolute would be if she kills him off (though, even then, I am sure someone could 'resurrect' him!). I am so excited to get the book and sit down to read it and find out!

I doubt it, because it would make such a horrible ending for the last book, not only does Harry die (in order for Voldy to die you need to destroy all horcrux) but Voldermort dies too, that's too easy. No, I think the remaining horcrux have to be an item from Ravenclaw and Gryffindor, what they could be however is a total mystery to me, but that's what will make reading the 7th book fun!

i really don't think that Harry's scar is a hocrux it has to be something that can be healed and a scar is mark left after being hurt.

Well, the book says that for Harry to kill Voldemort, all the horcruxes must be destroyed. But, if Harry is destroyed, it'll be mighty hard for him to kill Voldemort.

maybe harry is the horcrux...but i dont think the scar is..it is possible though. that would suck because the only real way to kill voldemort would have to be to kill harry if he or his scar is a horcrux lol
