I love what is called "foodie" mysteries. These are mysteries that have a tie in with cooking or the food industry. Writers like Joanna Fluke and Diane Mott Davison are good examples of this genre. I'm looking for a new series to read. Recipes are a must!!

Most of these are part of a "Collection" or "Series" but there are some good stand alone books as well. A Crazy Little Thing Called Death by Nancy Martin is very good.

Bake Sale Murder by Leslie Meier
Sweet Revenge by Diane Mott Davidson
Decaffeinated Corpse by Cleo Coyle
The Chocolate Jewel Case by JoAnna Carl
Dark Tort: A Novel of Suspense (Goldy Bear Culinary Mysteries) by Diane Mott Davidson
A Crazy Little Thing Called Death by Nancy Martin
The Accidental Florist by Jill Churchill
Blueberry Muffin Murder by Joanne Fluke
Dragonwell Dead (Tea Shop Mystery) by Laura Childs
Sugar and Spice by Fern Michaels

I suggest the funny and entertaining "The Pennsylvania-Dutch Mystery with Recipe" Series by Tamar Myers.

(Amazon.com sometimes refers to the books in this series as the PennDutch Inn Mysteries or Magdalena Yoder Mysteries.)

"A mix of murder and mouth watering recipes."
--Publishers Weekly

1 Too many Crooks Spoil the Broth
2 Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Crime
3 No Use Dying Over Spilled Milk
4 Just Plain Pickled to Death
5 Between A Wok and a Hard Place
6 Eat Drink and be Wary
7 Plat it Again, Spam
8 The Hand that Rocks the Ladle
9 The Crepes of Wrath
10 Gruel and Unusual Punishment
11 Custard's Last Stand
12 Thou Shalt Not Grill
13 Assault and Pepper
14 Grape Expectations

Her other mystery series, Den of Antiquity, is really good too.

"All the right ingredients" --Mostly Murder

"Hilarious situations...a treat to read."

-The Angel and the Jabberwocky Murders: An Augusta Goodnight Mystery (with Heavenly Recipes) by Mignon F. Ballard
-Prepared for Murder: A Culinary Mystery with Recipes by Cecile Lamalle
-A Catered Wedding (Mystery with Recipes) by Isis Crawford
-Mozzarella Most Murderous: A Culinary Mystery With Recipes by Nancy Fairbanks

Those are a few of the titles, but the link below goes to a search on Amazon where I got these; you can then check out other titles in each series.

You gotta love the titles of these. My mom reads them quite a bit and then gives them to me to list for sale on-line. Really creative (and delicious, too!)
