I have one and two, and I haven't seen three yet. Is it even out? What is the title?

No - I wrote a letter to Mr. Koontz a while back asking him about that and I got a very kind reply. He said he has postponed the third book for a while 1) He was having difficulties working with a co-author and the third book will be done by him alone. 2)He was concerned with unleashing Victor on New Orleans so soon after Hurricane Katrina. He just didnt feel right about that - since the books take place in NOLA. He decided to put it on the back burner for a while. Expect the third one next summer. I am waiting for it myself because I think Deucalion is fantastic. Pax- C

The third book in the trilogy is tentatively named Dead and Alive, co-written with Ed Gorman, to be published in May, 2008 (or "Spring 2008", according to Dean Koontz). The most likely cause for these postponements is Hurricane Katrina[citation needed]; Dean Koontz's Frankenstein trilogy is based in New Orleans, Louisiana. New Orleans is portrayed as a decadent setting deserving of Victor Helios' monsters. Therefore, releasing Book Three would certainly make for a very awkward reading, indeed.[This statement appears to be an original opinion, which should be avoided] The three available options are as follows: change the setting, play the waiting game (and hope people forget about Hurricane Katrina), or just cancel Book Three.[This statement appears to be an original opinion, which should be avoided] The author is not willing to change the setting of Book Three; the publisher (Bantam) is not willing to release Book Three, especially so soon after a major disaster; most importantly, neither party is willing to lose profit by just cancelling Book Three.[citation needed]

I can't wait for book 3 also. I love Dean Koontz. But it is understandable as to why he doesn't want to release it at this time.
