Has anyone studied Keats' "Ode Of A Grecian Urn"? What would you say are the qualities the urn possesses that Keats finds desirable? I am trying to find similarities between this poem and "Bright Star". Someone out there must know something, please.

My vote would go to Guy Pierce, star of the film "The Proposition" (2006):

"Words Hurt"

I don't need to speak out to be heard
My silence is golden
When talk is cheap
your words don't mean anything

Actions speak louder
Then any word you can say
One action
Can say a thousand things

Don’t say anything
When all that comes out
Is pain
Words can hurt too

More then you’ll ever know

This is not homework, I just like the title and wonder what the book is about, just a bare bones summary. If I like the premise, I'll buy the book next week when I get paid.

Autumn
As I look around me, all I can see
Is mother nature smiling back at me
Leaves turning shades of red, brown, and yellow
Slowly drifting to the ground
Calm and mellow
Autumn air starts to get colder
And colder it will get
Soon winter will come
Icy and Wet

So what do you think? Please be truthful and don't be afraid to say that you hate it! I just want feedback. Do you think its good enough to maybe get in a newspaper/magazine? Please be 100% truthful!
~*thanks

How do I hate you?

I hate you more than words can say
My anger grows day by day
The way you're folded in his arms
And look as if there's no alarm
I'd like to take a rusted knife
And cut you out of my life
But in my heart your memory stays
No matter what you won't go away

I read these stories in an anthology when I was in high school and they stuck with me but I cannot for the life of me remember the titles or the authors. Any help is appreciated.

First, there was a story about a bird collector that wanted to find a phoenix. He finally did, or maybe he died before his estate acquired one. Anyways, they treated the bird poorly so that it would burn and be reborn but when it did the fire was so large it burned all of the people who had come to watch it.

Second, there was a story of a man who took his son and another young boy (a nephew maybe) out fishing but they got stuck on an island and the boat drifted away and the man gave the boys whiskey to try and keep them warm but they eventually all drowned when the tide came in.

Third, there was a story about a man who was in a driving test simulation and killed a young girl in a horrible crash. When he still wanted to get his license, they locked him up because he was obviously not fit to be in society.

If the name of a place is substituted for the townspeople that live there, what literary device would it be?

In context: "What if Eatonville could see her now in her blue denim overalls and heavy shoes?"

Thanks!
