I love all your books. I've read all of them. I would like to know if any more books are coming out?

I would like to show my students a movie somehow related to the novel (not the actual Animal Farm movie) before we start reading it. I would appreciate any suggestions. :)

i need to have a book idea by friday for my history class and i dont know what to read! it has to be about WWII or the depression or other stuff.. my teacher gave some examples : Black like me, The Jungle, Grapes of Wrath.

It is about a girl who goes to summer camp. She is stuck in a cabin w/ a group of really clique-y girls. She become friends with them, and then her best fiend(not in group) gets pregnant. The head of the group says she is the one who is pregnant. Another girl in the group is anorexic. THe main charchter gets her first boyfriend, and kiss.

We have'nt finished, but thats what we have so far. TITLES PLEASE!!!!

This was written by Linda S. Lichter, and whilst I agree with the principles, I find her writing to be rather aggressive and parts contain rather inappropriate and unsavoury language.

I would like to hear what others think of this book.

I'm looking for an active community where it'd be possible to get replies to vignettes, flash fiction, and short stories I write within a day's time. Preferably the constructive criticism sort of replies, as opposed to the "omg this is cool" or "you sux" sort. Google failed me, so I figured maybe someone here has a good link or two. Thanks.

Here's mine..... "At dawn my lover comes to me
And tells me of her dreams
With no attempts to shovel a glimpse
Into the ditch of what each one means"

Like to take this opportunity to repeat a proposal to accept the term "calpurnian arrangement" into Psychology studies. Calpurnia in Harper Lee's novel taught her son Zeebo to read bookprint (no school would dare do that) and she was main person in the trinity of women who nurtured Scout toward adulthood; Alexandra, Maudie, and Calpurnia.

I have tried 4 times to read Ulysses, but unfortunately the opening chapter does nothing for me. I know it is a literary marvel yet I'm at a loss.
Should I persevere? Is it worth the initial struggle?
I welcome your insight....
