I think www.amazon.com is a great place to go; it's essentially a book database if you click on 'Books Only' when searching. It gives professional and casual reviews, and there's a feature where if you liked the books, you can click on a link to explore other books like that.

There is also a website called www.gnod.net; this is a forum more for finding authors similar to the author you've enjoyed. It doesn't work for all authors though (I just tried Kate Mosse and she wasn't found), but it's an additional handy tool.

Glad to hear that you like Labyrinth; I've been debating about whether or not to read it for the past month; it seems that you either love it or hate it.
