I have read books by sophie kinsella, jane green and belinda jones and love them, and I was wondering if anyone knows any authors that write similar to these?

If you love those authors you will love Marian Keyes and Patricia Scanlan. They are both Irish writers and they are both fantastic.

Patricia Scanlan wrote a brilliant series of books called City Girl, City Woman and City Lives......they are such engrossing stories that I read the whole collection in 4 days. I even cried when I read the last one as I was just wanting more.

She also wrote a book called Francessca's Party which is another fab book.

Marian Keyes is just one of the best authors in the type of fiction and I would recommend all of hers.

My wife likes those too and she also likes Zadie Smith, especially White Teeth and she likes Yann Martell. Daphne Du Maurier is a perennial favourite and anything by Joanna Trollope.
