Word is going throughout the city that I live in about my paintings. I haven't sold any yet, but they are now on display. A local organization wants me to create a peice of art that they can use for t-shirts for their 'cause'. If I do a painting and sell them the picture (digital) who owns the rights? And if I keep the original painting and the rights, then are they allowed to use the art for anything other than tee-shirts? Any suggestions?

I have a movement project for school and I cannot choose between these two pictures. The professor told me to pick between these ones and each one has something wrong with it...I just don't know which is the lesser of two evils. Which one would you choose? Thanks!

based on the lives of either Queen Zenobia of the Palmyrene empire or Queen Boudica. I finished reading the Memoirs of Cleopatra by Margaret Geroge a while back and I am interested in reading more about other poweful queens such as Cleopatra. If anyone can make any recommendations it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What is knowledge? What does it mean to know? (Please no dictionary definitions, I'm looking for an intelligent, philosophical analysis of this question) I seek the answer to satiate my own intellectual curiosity.

Hey guys.

Look, i have an art exam TOMORROW.
I have to paint an ornament of a horse in the style of an artist.

I need artists!!!

It would help if they painted horses.

PAINTED.

It would help if they weren't entirely famous like VanGogh.

It would help if they had a VERY recognisable style. THIS IS ESSENTIAL.

It would help if their style wasn't abstract OR too lifelike.

It would help if you gave me links.

It would help if they painted horses in bright colours.

It would help if I could apply their style to AN ORNAMENT - NOT A VIEW/SCENE.

It would help if you helped.

Please!!

{{ThanksSoMuch.}}

**ALREADY LOOKED AT FRANZ MARC
***THEY DONT HAVE TO PAINT HORSES
****THEY MUST BE ORIGINAL AND HAVE A WIKIPEDIA ABOUT THEM ~ THATS HOW FAMOUS
*****THEY MUST DO SOMETHING UNIQUE IN THE WAY THEY PAINT - HORSES OR OTHERWISE!!

THANKS SO MUCH.

I can't find exactly how much. The wiki article just says:

"Large sums of money were donated by charities; Calcutta is credited with making the first donation of £14,000. The money was raised by Irish soldiers serving there and Irish people employed by the East India Company. Pope Pius IX sent funds, Queen Victoria donated £2,000"

... but it doesn't say how much he donated.
