I just bought my first fiddle and I'm very excited to start learning, but I still have to go buy an instruction book to learn how to play it. Can anyone tell me how to get started at least, so I can at least make some sound from it? Also, what do you do with the rosin? I know, I have a lot to learn, that's what I'm hoping to do. I've looked on the internet and found a lot of great instruction sites, but none on getting started with the basics. Any help you could give me would be great! Thanks!

“Are you boys ready yet?” Liz asked.
She had spent the whole morning rushing around gathering clothes, making lunches, signing homework, and washing faces. She sighed as she looked at the now ruined house. Everything was yanked from its place and scattered throughout her home.
“Drew, Mitch, Sammy!” she yelled.
“What?” shouted Drew.
“It’s time to go! We are all going to be late!”
“I’m almost ready!”
“Me too!” Mitch shouted
“Sammy are you ready?” asked Liz.
Liz could hear Sammy start to cry. She ran up the stairs, into his room, and found him in tears on the floor. He sat among various items such as: pencils, action figures, shirts, and stuffed animals.
“What’s wrong, Sammy?”
“I don’t know what to do.” Sammy moaned
“Well, what do you think you need to do?”
“I need to get ready for school.” Sammy replied
“Alright. Now what do you need to be ready?” Liz prodded
“Pencils!” Sammy grabbed a handful and shoved them into his backpack.
“Is that it?”
“No. I need my jacket.”

Any basics in using infrared film.I have Kodak 135.I also have a red filter I will be using. I am a big fan of Simon Marsden black and white photography. I'm looking to try his technique,but I'm unclear as to how he gets his prints to look so gritty and grainy.Is that made digitally ,in the lab, or during the shoot? Also what time of day is best to shoot with this film ? Any help would be useful.

( LOTR BOOKS)

This is a verse written by Bilbo in referal to Aragorn. I like it so much that I memorised it. Here it is in full:

All that is gold does not glitter;
not all those who wander are lost.
The old that is strong does not wither;
deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken;
a light from the shadows shall spring.
Renewed shall be blade that was broken;
the crownless again shall be king.

(If I made any mistakes please point them out, this was written by memory.)

The only two factors that affect your decisions:

- Your genetic makeup
- Your upbringing and life experiences
(Unless you think there's a magical third factor)

You CAN'T change either.

You can say "I can do what I want" that's why it's such a convincing illusion... How can decisions be uncaused, are they random than?

People will never see the philosophical side of it never mind the physics part (Determinism).

1000 years from now, when man has explored the edges of our galaxy, discovered life on other planets, has the ability to regenerate and mutate human body parts at will, and people are able to communicate with others around the world by thought. They won't be anywhere near as irrational as the majority of us are today.

Does it seem fair to you that people of the future will have a perspective of the world that is completely different from ours? One in which superstition is killed by the knowledge base that we are building today?

Does it seem fair to you, that we are living in the relative dark ages and our descendents will think on our time as if we were all delusional people that spoke to ourselves in the belief that we were speaking to something that evidently is not there? Is it fair that not only will we be considered primative, but blindly superstitious as well?
