please suggest, rate/crotique, and breifly summarize any good teen adventure books that are somewhat challenging but not tooo hard for a 7th or 8th grade reading level.
Also, if you know, would the book "Twilight" be considered an adventure book?
Thank you veryyy much!!!

I would definately suggest Gary Paulsen's 'Hatchet' and 'The River.' Both are spectacular reads, and were among my favorite books when I was in 7th grade. Also, another good read is Jean Craighead George's 'My Side of the Mountain'. It was written in 1959, but is still a great read, also, it won the Newberry Medal that year, so others apparently think it's good as well.
Of course, there's always the 'Hardy Boys' or 'Nancy Drew.' Both of those series are good reads with plots including adventure, crimesolving, and danger. I've read many of both of those series and loved them.
It might not be considered an advernture book, (I would consider parts of it to be adventurous) but the 'Redwall' series by Brian Jacques is also great. There are approximately 20 books in the series. I read the first one when I was in 7th grade and fell in love with them.

I hope some of these suggestions pan out for you. Enjoy whatever book you pick. Remember that even though it's an assignment, you should pick a book that interests you, because it'll make the reading all the more easier and enjoyable.

Check out Downriver by Will Hobb. I read it in...8th grade? It's about a troubled teen girl who gets sent by her father to this special camp. She and some other kids at camp run away and decide to try to whitewater raft down the Grand Canyon. It's really good, definately "adventure"

The starvation video games once I have been given my reproduction of the starvation video games as a complicated, I wolfed it in under an afternoon. it is a style of "won't be in a position to place down in spite of if it is 3 interior the morning" type of books. I knew, at as quickly as, it would be a suggestion i might supply to every person searching for a great, new teen examine. What I cherished maximum concerning the e book is its premise: in a according to threat-distant-no longer-distinguishable destiny, Katniss, our heroine, reveals herself partaking interior the proper actuality television tutor--a combat to the loss of existence. for youths in Katniss's international, a lottery could deliver them to the Capitol to combat in those starvation video games, the place the victor is the final teen status. With a sprint romance, humor between the carnage, and an enticing new destiny set up, Collins' first e book of the starvation video games sequence is unforgettable.
