I have a movement project for school and I cannot choose between these two pictures. The professor told me to pick between these ones and each one has something wrong with it...I just don't know which is the lesser of two evils. Which one would you choose? Thanks!

I like the second one better...the first on is just too blurry...the second one is at least easier to look at.
( I am not a professional, and this is just my opinion)

The second one for sure. You capture the man in focus and you get a bigger picture of him and the dog. More detail is good here. The first pic seems like the dog isn't frozen in time enough.
To make it better you can play with cropping off sided and photoshop adjustments but if you must crop it and are developing remember to use the proper size ration or your photo won't come out correct. You can get clipping.

The first photo does show the entire dog clearly but the trainer is part of the subject and is cut off. it make it appear as if we are missing the entire picture.
For this reason I would go with #2

I would select photo two. Both photos have blurr in them however the second picture is clearer on the main subject which is the dog. the first one has a lot of blurr on the dogs hind quarter. Good luck!

I choose the second one because there is a a bigger contrast between the movement of the dogs legs and the rest of it's body.
The first one can be mistaken as more of a blur by the untrained eye.

I like photo one. I really like it best because it is almost all "movement" except the dog's little tongue. I think that's cute! Plus, that white blur at the bottom of picture #2 was too distracting for me to really look at the rest of the photo.

the second one shows the owner walking with the dog. The first one you don't see the owner and it's mostly blurry
