I have mainly only used a digital SLR but when I saw Holga results I had to get one. The problem is all the pics are just poor. In all aspects they suck. I am curious some tips I can get a good quality picture while keeping that Holga funky affect.

I am not being an a$$, but poor pictures are the "Holga funky affect (sic)". Part of the charm of Lomography is learning to use the idiosyncrasies of your particular camera to produce artistic effects. So, keep experimenting and fiddling until you learn to do something you like. Good luck.

Use film speed no lower than 400 ISO. That color flash can do some neat things, but the flash only carries about 10 feet. There are some great Holga sites on line..try this for starters
